Finally took her on some dirt roads

Buttermilk Falls. Walpack NJ

Old Mine Rd along the Delaware River

About 200 mile ride. I definitely need a new seat and taller windscreen

So what is the difference between the f650 and the f700 besides 4hp? Is that just a marketing scheme? The height and suspension is still the same isnt it?

Megan (Wife - Tourqouise ) and I (white t-shirt) had a blast, and we enjoyed hanging with everybody at the event!!!

Here was one of my oops's for the weekend

It was some nice looking tight banked turns... they turned out to be a little soft!

All in all, a great weekend, and I won a riding suit!!!

Ryan

I think the 700 also has ABS and ASC as std equipment - or is it ABS and ESA? IDK.

It also looks to me like there are some minor styling changes.

I think the big reason for the changes is for marketing. Triumph has their 800 roadie and Honda is coming out with the NC700 series. I wish it came to the states with the full 85hp version though. I like it a lot.

I know the Triumph is supposed to have 95 hp, but to my eye it's just ugly and I don't like the passenger grab rails positioned to bust my shin...

I speak lol and brb and stuff but i dont know what esa and asc is? Haha so basically this bike is just a f650gs twin? I dont see what they can do so different for 4hp more. I want to have the 2 dynoed next to each other.

I'm heading up there Thursday for some exploring, I've tried every windshield under the sun save for the aeroflow and sit just hi enough to make it a pain, I have a stock standard height seat if you want to borrow it for a long ride and see if it works. I'm pretty happy with the stock seat everyone flames, of my two Touratech seats the low seat was the most comfy. My F650GS came with a low seat and it was pretty hard after an hour

I'll be on my tippy toes with a standard seat. Should've bought the TT one you just sold. Might try the Wal-Mart cushion thing for the next long ride.
