Nice pictures MADRAFi. It looks a little chilly for swimming at the beach still... Is it still a 'boat' if it rides on big skates?

I've got a 2010 with a new to me D3 I installed this winter. Do you have any pictures of how you mounted the Montana? I'm still trying to figure out the neatest (read as easiest) way to install mine.

Sure I have. Top part of the windscreen is removed on the photo.
I was inspired by one of advrider.com members on his blue F650GS or F800GS I dont Remember.
This is bent Touratech mount which gives me 12mm pipe to mount another Touratech mount (does not fit quite) but it works. However the cheapest and easiest way is to get 12mm pipe make a thread inside and put it between left and right side of the moving part of the windscreen, right when you have bolts to move it up and down. If you tight it in upper most position you will get nice mounting platform, however you will loose some movement of the windscreen.




PS I have no idea how to call those thing on ice in English :)

Ice Boat or Iceboat. Top speeds recorded will amaze you (for those interested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_boat) and would(could theoretically) outrun anything I have on two or 4 wheels...
