I've heard the new colors will be orange and white for 2010 models. But since this bike has only about 6 panels to be painted, you can basically have it in any color you want.

I think there are 7 panels. 2 rear, 2 beak, 2 shrouds, 1 faux tank! Of course, that gives you a large number of possibilities!

The side panels on one are colour coded and on the other are not.

Not a picture, but here is a video I made this weekend on the F800. This is my first attempt with this camera and any video editing software, so hopefully it is OK.
At about 3 minutes into the video I switch to a rear view which I really like, but unfortunately this caused the camera to fall off and I spent hours looking for it. I went back this morning and finally did find it!!!
Also this is the first time I have riden on a road like this with the new tires, I was taking it a bit slower in the begining of the video, but I think it looks like I sped up a bit after about 4 minutes into this video.
My tire definitely took a kicking on this road as well, I got considerable wear after doing this road 4 times.

I have just looked through every page of this huge thread. Let's just say the first thing I am going to do once I am good enough to walk again is, WALK down to my local BMW dealership and put a down payment on one of these!

CAN'T FREAKIN WAIT!

The difference between painted panels is between the yellow and the silver. The silver has two extra panels that are painted (those side panels on the false tank). On the yellow, those side panels on the false tank are black. In other words, the count here is on painted panels. So if you are painting a yellow bike a different color, which is the case of this red one, you paint only 6 panels. The silver will require 8 panels painted, hence more $$$. Capice?
