I'll be riding all this weekend in pachaug. Family next weekend.

I am going to bring an axe or two in though. Good idea, I'll sharpen them up. I bet I can clear that section around the campground.

I might be up for a loop or two. Not sure yet but I'm thinking Sunday. We were talking about cleaning up that trail that goes around Green Falls campground. Anyone up for meeting me with some tools by Green Falls Lake there and spending a couple hours cleaning that trail up on Sunday - to be followed by at least a full loop?

Since we are doing a clean up by the lake, I'd like to park and unload close to there. The only problem is that they charge admission on weekends. I say we can unload at Beach Pond. It will be free and only a short trail ride to where we need to be.

After we work for an hour, give or take, we can bring the tools of destruction back to the vehicles and do a real ride. There's a certain jump down in the section by Wyassup Lake that I'd like to shoot some video at.

I just did the camp-n-ride last weekend at Pachaug and we're doing another one in a few weeks. You should come up for the next one, it's a good relaxing time. If you want to come up and hang out this weekend, I might be able to put you up for Saturday night. PM me and let me know.

I can bring a couple saws and an ax. Doesn't the Beach Pond parking lot say no trailers? I saw that on the sign last time you camped out at Green Falls and mentioned we could park there. It was the beach parking lot not the boat landing, so maybe I was at the wrong parking lot.

And a jump!? Cool, I haven't gotten hurt in a while.

If it wasn't for all the rocks, roots, trees, hills, mud, ruts, logs, sand, and lack of tar, I'd be a damn good off-road rider!

Haha, Pachaug mud doesn't stick to shiny plastic at all.

There may be a "no trailors" sign next to the "no swimming" sign - I have no idea but it''s a big parking lot. Maybe they mean boat trailors. Or maybe they mean no mobile homes. I don't roll with a trailor anyway. I carry my bike piggy-back.

I'm thinking of a 9:30 start but 10 is ok too if we have people coming in from the other side of the state.

Ok, just want to say that, if the weather permits, I'm still planning on going to Pachaug Sunday morning to do a little clean-up and a good ride afterwards. I'll try to be there at 9 am and be riding by 11 at the latest. I'll be in that trail that goes around the Green Falls camping area.

There are some downed trees and spots where is is just overgrown. I'm going to just park my truck in the Park at the end of the trail that I want to work on. As you are going in towards the lake, I'll be parked on the left side. They may charge a parking fee. If you don't want to pay it, you can park elsewhere and ride in.

I'll pack a cooler and bring an axe and some pruners. Any help would be apprecited.

I'll be there. Give me a ring in the morning if the weather changes your mind. I don't mind riding in the rain, or chopping in it for that matter.

Is this the section of the trail you mean? (between the red dots)
