What, and spoil all the fun?

I was involved with NA$CAR for years, when it comes to headsets, look for ones with excellent noise cancellation, light weight, and not heavy steel springs, they will give you a serious headache. On pit road we always used Racing Electronics gear, its designed with the crew in mind, always on the edge as far as whats new and better. More $$, but you get what you pay for. For a scanner look for battery life, and how easy/quick they recharge, and then ease of programing and identifying what channels ur monitoring. Nothing worse then hearing chatter, and not knowing who its between.
But. beware, more and more teams are going hi-tech with communications, we use to monitor the other teams very closely, it could alter our strategy. You might only hear a spotters one way transmissions, seldom will you hear CC/driver communications. So the majority of what you hear will be the MRN race broadcasts.

Pronounced Pachaug.

It's pa ( like ma & pa)

chaug (like frog but with a "ch")

Street plated bikes only and you have to stay on the approved loop.

It's tough on equipment.

Thanks for the AMA link, Dariusz. I couldn't find that info on CT's DMV site. I think I'll pass on the blinkers for this bike, which will be mostly off-road.

I first called it "potch hog" then heard everyone else calling it "patch hog" so I've been pronouncing it "patch hog" since.

No problem. I was getting sick of repairing/replacing mine after each ride so just took them off my DRZ.

That's what keeps it interesting. If it was all groomed dirt, freshly wet to keep dust down, it would be boring. The crazy mix of roller rocks, roots, ruts, low hanging branches, slop holes, wet leaves, diagonal log crossings and flooded out streams keep you on your toes.

I thought it was pronounced pa-chog and I guess it varies, thank you guys for trying to clarify it, HA!
