Let me know a date and I'll get the day off.

Your should set up the race sag for the bike and get different springs for your weight. If you are good at wrenching, then you can do that yourself. The springs are about $110 for the front and $120 for the rear from racetech.com. Just plug in your weight and type of bike and they let you know what rate to buy. I instaled them on my roadrace bike along with trick RaceTech fork valves. I went 4 seconds faster per lap after! I have a shock spring compressor you can borrow, thats the only one thats a bitch to get off.

Now that you mention it.....I might do that for my winter project!

FYI...got a dual sport kit for the WR, its installed already. Horn, LED turn signals, Brake Light, Mirrors, ETC. I am going to DMV to get a CT plate maybe on saturday or next week. Got to obey the law....:)

I have never paid anyone to work on a bike before but I have no desire to work on a suspension. Don't plan on spending anymore $$ on my bike after this job. .....

I can't ride this weekend but let me know if you can get Friday,Sat, Sun or Monday off next week to ride.

Cant get any of those days:(

Got my VT plate transfered on the WR250 to a CT motorcycle plate. I was at DMV in old saybrook from 1330 to 1630! But the dual sport kit worked great. The inspector checked the tires for the DOT on the sidewalls, the horn and the signals.

$90 bucks...:)

I really want to try out my new suspension. Let me know when/if you can ride this coming weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun or Mon).

Anyone else is welcome to come along.

Cost is $625 for valving, springs, seals, oil (for both front/rear shocks).

Done at www.ccycle.com. He (Bill) uses Race Tech parts. After talking to him and seeing his shop I know my girl is in good hands. He offers track side support for all the NE races and has been doing suspention for 30+ years.

I told him what kind of rider I am and the stuff I ride on and he took down my height/weight and said it will be perfect (sag included). He said he had formulas for KTM to set it up correctly.

Dropped it off on Friday and it will be ready by this Wednesday. Usually takes less time but he didn't have the correct springs for my 250 lb ass.

He does oil shock oil changes for 75$ front / 75$ rear and told me to change the oil after 50 hours riding. He is only 15 mins from my house so hopefully I'm happy with the results.
