It's Sunday only this year. You can camp and look around for your own trails Saturday, but no organized Sat. ride and worst of all, no steak cookout Sat nite. I will be there Sunday morning and might get talked into camping Sat nite.

Awe man, I was ready for the full pull. I guess if you wan to hang with the big dogs, you have to come to my Camp-n-Ride. I'm in for the ride then, I was just looking at NETA's 2012 published schedule.

hmm.. Swathman and Redbeard are going to be there.. Two old friends I haven't seen in a while.. I'm tentatively planning a fairly easy but fun Berkshires small bike ride option for that weekend but the T+C is currently a back up option.. For those of you who know me; would the Thrill and Chill ride be fun for me (with a couple years of trail riding experience and) on a DRZ400S or would most of the ride seem more like punishment for unknown sins by some make-believe god?

The events I've been to were all quite good, as in enjoyable. I'd only suggest good tires because 200+ bikes tend to make the trails slippery in spots. Other than that, ride with a friend or two that agree to stick with you. That way, if things get really hard, you have a helping hand to get you through. You'll be challenged in spots, but we all are. That's what makes it a really rewarding time. I'd be happy to ride with you at an event. Who knows, maybe you'll be the one helping me.

Just wanted to remind all you Pachaug dudes that on July 8th the Connecticut Ramblers is hosting the Cherry Bomb Harescamble in Chaplin, If you never seen a AA/Pro start (1 PM sharp- 11am for novice classes) your missing something pretty cool, There will be plenty of spectator spots... It also happens to be a good destination for Adventure bikes!
