I just posted on the Drop-O-Rama thread since I'm suggesting a ride tomorrow other than the Loop...but maybe we'll take you up on the offer and meet at Twisted Throttle?

I could ride tomorrow (aka Sunday).. Small bike or big bike.. I may even camp at Pachaug Sunday night just for the hell of it.

The old and tired suspension on it's way out for a complete overhaul. I can't wait to try the rebuild out.

Gilles is going to give me a springotomy and valvectomy. He just does KTMs and is apparently quite the guru.

ha!
I am usually the one posting while on drugs!

PO = previous owner

the " new bike" is technically a used bike - '08 250 XC

the PO had Gillies do the suspension work for the rocks and roots of southern NH for a C rider @ 220lbs w/ gear.
that is close to what I would have it set-up for but I am only a little bit lighter with gear and ride more mixed terrain (I live right at the break between the rocky hell that is freetown state forrest and the flowing single track of cranberry country). so even with me being a bit lighter I went a two clicks up on compression in the front and could use to do the same for rebound. I still need to play with my sag and springs and such. my last time out on the bike was only my 4th or 5th time out on it -- but it was the first one where I felt the "flow" (still getting used to the 2s over the 4s) and man was I feeling fast and the suspension was about as good as I have ever had dialed in.

--- good luck healing up and don't bogart all the good drugs! ---
