T-Dub - are there campsites on, or near enough to water, to drag a canoe at any of the above?
Green Falls camping is across the road from the pond, very near the beach where you can put in.

I saw the video above on CNN a day or two ago and I'm still trying to understand the physics of the crash.. The guy wraps his bike around a telephone pole, knocks his helmet off in the process, he seems to move backwards after the impact (perhaps hitting the adjacent building?), it seems like he knocks bricks or something off the roof of the building, the bike he's now laying next too immediately bursts into flames; and then he runs (limps) away???

SquadraCorse (or whomever else): We'll be setting up camp Saturday afternoon at the Green Falls campground located here:
http://goo.gl/maps/Kmw5m
Feel free to stop by and say hello or set up camp and hang out the rest of the weekend! I'd like to get a short ride in Saturday afternoon but it depends when I get there. I'll definitely be riding Sunday..

Hobomock: For future reference you can see the Pond is right there next to the campground in the above link, well situated for canoeing but it's still just a pond and if you're not fishing/drinking in the canoe the pond may seem rather small rather quickly... Nice campsites there though..

The bike doesn't look like it takes the most reasonable flight pattern either. Maybe he was tethered to it until he landed? No idea where the bricks come from. I dig those lights. High/Low also? Sort of remind me of..

Correction, Saturday morning. I'll be set up early, and riding of course.

Not sure why I'm compelled to share this, but it's a favorite of mine.

It's crazy how he's not completely shattered. Lucky SOB.

Had to be either a chain link or net. Even with that moderate amount of force, a wire would have severed him or at the least spun him.

I never liked cats. Then about 3 months back we had a stray getting in our garbage all the time. I read somewhere that if you don't want animals in your garbage then feed them. Well I feed him and now he's a permanent member of our household....

I just hope no skunks start eating out of our garbage.

Oh, so that's what Pachaug means ... it's Mohegan for "post your cat on YouTube".
