Joe took 7th in his class, I believe. We had the same times on lap 1 (34 minutes?). He definitely stepped it up a notch in this race. We are considering doing the entire HS series next year (or as many as we can). I might have to start a separate thread call "Darius vs Dirty Joe".

Yes, Thad beat me again . I do not know if this means anything . I did see a guy dressed just like him on the same bike hidding in the woods . Just seemed a little odd .

Wow, Joe really got to watch that guy fight for the next few passes. It's amazing to see his patience and self control - knows that the noob riders are off balance and are about to drift in his way. He gives them a second, then dusts them.

When he gets on an open stretch, his rhythm and pace is intense. Just flying through the trails. Wow.

What size Husky is he on anyway?

You met my evil brother, Ted. We timed so that by the 2nd lap, when you got winded, I (he) would be right behind you ready for the pass. I was actually home watching tv by noon while he finished the race. He's actually faster than me, which is why my 2nd and 3rd lap times are better than my first.

Whitten rides a KTM 300. I thought it was a Husaberg too when he passed me but it's a white and blue KTM. I am not sure why he was in sportsman but from his posts on NEDB it sounded like he was just getting off the couch, maybe from an injury. He made AA in 2011 but didn't race after that for some reason so is now back to A. Redbeard belongs to his club so maybe he can get the story.

It's one thing to watch these guys from the sidelines, and even their videos, but when you are out on the trail giving it your all, thinking you can't possibly go any faster, and suddenly this guy zips on by you like you were sitting still, that's when you fully appreciate what they can do. It truly is poetry in motion.

Hey Pachaugers ..... I am throwing in the towel and saying Uncle...... I am getting my left Knee looked at today at 11AM. I tweaked the hell out of it in early July with AKAROB and it just wont heal.... Missed an entire season and the instability just made me careful and relatively uninterested in riding...... I just knew one get off would do me in further. Been following you guys and miss it.

We will see.... I have a shiny 2008 450 EXC R that needs some riding..... I have only ridden it 8 hours!

Sounds like torn ACL. Good thing is, they can fix those things. Don't rush the rehab and you'll be back riding that 450. BTDT a long time ago and knee is as good as new.

Enduros need street plates. Harescrambles do not
