Ok cool. I might be able to scrape together a few clams. I'll check it out.
Winter riding is just awesome. No other way to describe it. All those lakes in your riding spots that you used to go around, you can scoot right over when it's good and cold. Not to mention that you can see lines and go pretty much anywhere. The areas around Shetucket Tpke and Beach Pond are especially fun.

FYI: I talked to the kid from the CL ad about studding tires. I'm trying to get him to come up to my place in CT 06002 and do a few tires ( mine and a buddies +++? ). Anyone want to be part of it, let me know. He can stay over, ride for a day and anyone else that's wants to be part of this is also welcome to ride/stay over. I have plenty of room.

They will be at least 250-300 for a set, no way to make them cheaper than that. Tires are $150 a set then add on around $100 for the studs.

Guess I'm going to hold off. Money is getting tight and probably not the best thing for my knee. Dr saying another month before I should go back to work. Is it worth going to watch or would be able to only see start and finish?

If he glues them, the glue might need to cure... sure would be alot quicker to buy them from that guy mike on nedb. He sells to alot of guys...and they will last for a few years... just my .02

I didn't know that glue was used. I thought it was mushroomed in?? I went out with my regular tire today and it was fine. I'm thinking that the little bit of riding I do in the winter can be done with rubber as long as the snows not deep and it's 40* or warmer.
