It was a horrible tragedy. When they went in to do the surgery they found an infection and ended up having to amputate his leg from the knee down. He's recovering but his spirits are low.

Don't beleive anything he says, except that my spirits are low. I do need to hit the liquor store soon.

I officially return to work Monday, with a note from the Doc and everything. I've actually started excercising now too. Two days in a row on the elliptical. I can tell my knees have become weak and this will be a big improvement. I've made changes to my diet and I stand at my desk most of the time now too. Today on the scale, I saw 230 something, I haven't seen that number in a looooong time. I plan to keep up the cardio and lose some more weight.

If you don't recognise me this spring, just look for the green can. Some things won't change.

Kenny PM'd me about my post asking if I was serious. I was hoping the fact that you were going in for a collar bone operation and came out with an amputated leg would have flagged it as a joke but weirder things have happen at hospitals in the past.

Anyway, so what kind of hardware did they give you?

And good to see you're working out. That makes you, ecrane, Redbeard and dirty joe that have stepped it up so far.

I got some special collar bone shaped plate screwed into my bone. No post x-rays yet but maybe this can scratch your dark curious itch. It's me posing yesterday.
