Renazco Seat

30 days later and I finally have my seat back from James. 1st off - WOW! What a huge difference. No more sliding forward towards the tank and a much better feel all around. Quality is top notch and it looks sweet. The only drawback is the seat is a little taller.
I took it out for a spin this afternoon and was coming to a stop for a right-hand turn uphill. There was a slight right to left slope at the light and as I went to put my left foot down the bike kept going over to the left. It caught me off guard, but I managed not to fall over. Let's just say I need to get familiar with the seat.

It was also the maiden voyage with the Roxx Risers. They too are fantastic.

Before and after.

I had James make seats for both my DRZ400 and my wife's CRF230L, trail-worthy + all day comfort!

Don't. The loop has always been open. If you give them any ideas, it may not be in the future.

well that is contrary to what I have read in this thread, and what is stated here http://www.ct.gov/deep/cwp/view.asp?a=2716&q=325070 but you have WAY more experience in the matter so I will gladly ride.

Holy schmoly. I've been going there for more than 20 years and that's the first I ever heard of that. We have always started going down as soon as the snow and ice melted, because there was still cover in the Berkshires where I usually ride.
Maybe someone can drift past the lot on Spaulding road and see if anything is posted.

My bet is if you ask them, they'd define "mud season" as pretty much like RI regs:
19.5 Trails may be periodically closed by DEM for use by motorcycles when habitat or natural resource protection issues, weather, or road conditions warrant. Such conditions may include, but are not limited to, high/extreme fire danger or seasonal muddy conditions. There shall be no motorcycle riding beyond gated portions of the loop during March, April, and before 1300 hours during May.

Agreed. That's why I italicized "ask".
