15 miles of pavement goes by a lot faster than 15 miles of single track / baby heads... Although I suspect many of us ride some of the dirt road sections faster than we ride the pavement sections so maybe it balances out...

Rob's 15+ miles may also be factoring in riders with less trail experience, such as myself, that tend to skip a few of the more challenging sections.. I'm sure I see a few more miles of pavement and maintained dirt road than those of you that ride mt misery, Babyhead hill, and the green falls water crossing every time you are out there.. Out of curiosity; how many of you ride the green falls section rather than just riding up route 49 towards the gas station?

I must be hitting all the hard sections because Ive yet to finish a loop. Must admit I do alot of waiting for my riding partner but it's also kind of hard to skip a section when I was just reading a roll chart. Have a trail tech this year hopefully I can map out all of the riding available.

Only been there twice and both times we did the water crossing, not sure Id ever avoid it.

The park ranger there told me a story about how they honored ATV plates for states that honored ours (reciprocal agreements or something). Not sure which states those might be but didn't get the feeling there were many.

Correct for those that live in CT. But for us out of staters the green plate is A O K until we get back to our own state then we are screwed

Registered is registered. What difference does the state matter? If I'm not mistaken, you can ride your VT registered vehicle on any street in any country in North America, if not the world. You guys sure get wrapped around a pole easily.

The difference is in the "off-road" registrations. They will only honor off-road plates fron states that honor a CT offroad plate.(reciprocity) Street plates are OK from all states.

This may be about to change. CT is considering making everyone register to ride off road, even out of state riders entered in events. Very similar to the problem we had in MA last 2 years. Private property too.
