Actually, that was one of my worst Pachaug rides ever, with the exception of the tree branch in the stomach episode. First, I fall off the bridge at the start of the rock garden section, then I get a FAIL light on my bikes IC and my bike starts running crappy. Maybe it was trying to tell me something. Then a flat front tire in EEE land! WTF!! Humid as hell. I don't do humid well. Sparrow getting us lost countless times.. My bikes suspension was so bad I had to quit early. And, not being able to keep up with Ed or Craig was really the worst!! Just kidding guys. You were tearing it up. Maybe I'll be like Darius and never ride again. Isn't the Ammo next weekend.

Actually I have no clue about the ingestion of EEE. All literature only talks about mosquito "bites" as being the cause. Strange that there is no mention of swallowing mosquitoes at high speeds on a motorcycle deep in the forest.

FAIL light and poor running of my Husky resolved. Hooked up my laptop and IBeat diag software to the bike. Says I have an open circuit in the O2 heater. Reached up under the tank and Fn'A!! Broken wire. Sometimes I curse my computer but tonight I'm a happy guy. And I think I know the suspension problem. Like Sparrow thought. Air cells leaking.

Horse walks into the bar.
Bartender says "Why the long face?" .

Never mind mosquitos. I was trail blazing this morning on a deer trail and somehow got a shirt filled with fire ants while upstate. Fuck man. I don't know why they all started biting but they put out some nasty venom or whatever it is. I don't know if Im allergic but my breathing started going crazy. It was almost a problem.

The Ammonoosuc River ride is this weekend up in N. Haverhill NH. Look at the Netra schedule page for the flyer. I've done it a few times and it's a very good ride. Any questions just ask.

Yes. I did it Sunday in the rain on a DR650, laying out the routesheet.

You missed a fantastic ride. The turn out was lite but still pretty good. For the life of me I can't figure out why some of you guys do not go up there. It's a great weekend of riding. 107 miles on Saturday of mostly dirt roads and jeep trails but still a great day with some of the "hero's" they mix in. Sunday was wet muddy and slippery. Not easy at all but also a great day. I bailed at 51 miles but Brian finished the loop and I think he said it a 85 or so miles.
