That is a genuine hip resurfacing job. I finally won't have to mount my bike from the right side or put the kickstand down to get on, nevermind shoe laces and socks whiich were a bitch... here is a little video. I had the birmingham process.

That's ok, I'll pass on the gory details. Just glad you're on the mend. It's really amazing how fast they get you on your feet after a major surgery like that, literally hours. Here's to a complication free recovery.

That was Gary Mikalson, he's the one who turned me onto the doctor. He just had the one hip done around the time of the Black and Blue enduro last year. I wanted to get it done then but work constraints killed it.. Jim Mitchell had both his knees done at the same time 1 1/2 ago. Amazingly I can do twice as much each day. I amazed how smooth this is going... The pic of the bruise is actually twice as big as that now though, but it doesnt hurt

less every day, 1 oxy in the morning to get me going and some muscle spasm jobs that allow you to stretch. asprin to prevent any clotting and celebrex.. I passed on some of the other's that were on my list...

http://youtu.be/bykwO20Pg-c here is my doctor doing a full anterior hip, the tools used are similar..
go get your dinner and pull up a chair! lol The grinding is quite cool

here is the anterior resurfacing vid... http://youtu.be/B2Misr0jkg0

You definetly need a little something for the first week. My broken ankle was worse, that throbbed like a bastard every time I got up for weeks..

That's John Prz, He is the propieter of HiPoint Mech and one of the older Ct Rambler's (my age). I think he restores a bike a year and has some killer 2 stroke racing bikes from the day. He definatly had a thing for those triple Kawi's. Ask him he lives on NEDB as PRZJOHN also
