Istanbul or bust

I've just done a trip from London(ish) to Istanbul (the Asian side) and back in a fortnight with three mates. Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia... the worse we thought somewhere would be, the better it turned out. An absolutely amazing trip, all expectations completely confounded, and possibly the most rewarding thing I've ever done.

Haven't done a full write-up yet, but we were tweeting as we went and it was easy to throw together as a Storify thing, which is here: http://storify.com/eldaifo/istanbul-and-back

Hope somebody enjoys reading it. I'll post a link to the proper write-up on my blog at http://eldaifo.blogspot.co.uk/ when it's done.

And the write-up's now done.

The story starts at http://eldaifo.blogspot.co.uk/2013/0...ing-ready.html

Hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I enjoyed doing it.

Post it on Adv!

Sounds like an amazing trip. It would be great if you have the time to share it here on Advrider.com.

All the Best,

The blog posts are fairly comprehensive and the image and videos are all inline - it wouldn't make a huge amount of sense duplicating the effort to copy it all into posts on here. The link in the post above goes straight to the start of the story.

Thanks eldaifo,

What a fantastic read . Just got back from five great weeks in BG and Romania where we had a hoot. You need to go back. Enjoyed the Balkans stuff too, that is our next trip

Cheers,

Dickyb
