Maybe he Googled GS800. Everybody knows Suzuki made GS750's and GS850's but no GS800.

I'd love to see a few more bike-specific forums -- or sub-forums. The F800GS could certainly warrent it's own sub-forum under Beasts (or possibly even under GSpot), but where would it end - or start for that matter?

I think the moderators should consider some additions beyond the big GS and KTM twins -- especially if the bike model lacks other forums on the 'net. For example the DRZ400 actually has a huge forum on thumpertalk, and the VStroms have stromtrooper and that rapidforums forum.

In any case, an F800GS forum, probably more than any other model would be an asset to advrider.com.

It is almost impossible to research info about a particular bike, especially a popular one with multiple posts.

The main 800 / 650 thread has 300 + pages of posts. I've tried to review many of them and find this the most common post - "my bike's in the warehouse!" or "my dealer called and said it is delayed" etc... Chattiing is fine but this bike needs it's own subforum with thread categories such as engine, suspension, mods, etc.

The search fxn doesn't help. Try searching for bash plate for the 800 and you're pointed to the giant thread. Hope you have a few days to find your search item in there.

This is a great forum. I especially appreciate the friendly mature attitude. And there's fantastic info here, it just would be nice to make it a little easier to find.

I stopped doing my F800GS research here a bit ago because anytime you even thought the term F800GS it was stuffed into the merge-fest. Shame because this is a great research location filled with friendly people.

I call this jug discrimination! Just because the f800s jugs are perky and upright they get fed to the beasts? Guess it is best to be here than with the saggy old 1200 jugs.
