melb-darwin and so on trip
well here he is, the latest addition to my cramped 'garage' my new '86 honda xl600r. on the ride back from the dealer in shepparton i decided i should call him dirty harry cos he dont take no tree huggin hippie crap from nobody. none of this panzy assed electric starting nonsense!
anyway the reason for this purchase is so i can do some serious touring around australia, then after that who knows. ive asked the bit about gear here:
but i need to plan the route at the same time, i want to go to darwin from melb via east of western australia, then on to thailand after a ship ride from darwin to singapore then after messing about around there get the same boat back to darwin then i need a route home via the east coast and maybe gulf of carpentaria. does any one have suggestins about any routes i should definetly take especially around kimberlies and NT as i dont want to be stuck on truck roads.
I DONT MIND A BIT OF DIRT
this looks good:
but a bit out of my way.
