World Trip Weather Planner
Something I've been building for my own trip, that I thought might be useful for you folks. I posted this on HorizonsUnlimited a few days back, and wanted to share here too (not sure how much overlap between both sites).
![]() This excel weather planner takes into account: - rainfall - rainy days per month - max temp - min temp - humidity - heat index Coverage area: - Asia (partial) - North America (partial) - Africa - SE Asia (partial) - Australia (partial) Looking for volunteers to help add cities, instructions are in the file. You can see detailed data for each city on each of the above stats: ![]() I assign a "discomfort level" to each data point, using 20C and no rain as the ideal weather. The further away from this ideal, the more discomfort. You can choose your own tolerance to rain, heat or cold, and the summary will adjust automatically. To do this, just change the percentages in the weighting box, as seen below: ![]() Just use the dropdown menu in the Output sheet to choose your cities: ![]() No idea how to attach a file here, but you can grab a copy from here: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...-planner-69535 Please let me know your comments. Philip (aka NY-Lon) PS. Those diagonal lines represent the trip I'm planning. Pretty sure I've timed it as optimally as I can at this point!

Thanks, I'm a dork ;)
Did you have problems opening it at first? I got an email notification of the initial response you gave. How did you fix it?

I've just added Australia after someone on HUBB added the data for me. If you add data, please post it there, and I'll merge it into the master file. thanks
