Hey,
I just heard from REV'IT! that VENTURA will only come to US in Pink Just kidding. As soon as the first batch shows up here, I will determine exactly how it fits and let you know. Meanwhile, I believe you have plenty of gear to test. By the way it looks like LEGACY pants fit you really well. Cheers, Dennis Quote:

You had me going for just a sec...
OK, I admit, just the thought of the Ventura only being available in pink just about made me write Rev'it headquarters.
BTW, when you get the spring collection in, please look at the men's Tornado pants sizing. Hubby needs a pair of mesh pants to go with his Turbine jacket and I've narrowed it down to either the Turbine or Tornado pants for him. Which do you think will be cooler? Hubby is actually a little bit more heat tolerant than me, believe it or not! Thanks. |

Vendors put the effort and energy into replying to individual inquiries, and often those inquiries are tedious and repetitive, but this shows the vendors' committment to earning our business and demonstrates the level of their customer service. It is highly inappropriate for another vendor to come here and talk about their products... or an inmate to come here and talk about a product not sold by this vendor. Product comparisons happen in Equipment and it looks like you already have such a thread there.

I am navigating the last 1 hour in http://www.revit.eu/en/#/products/FGW028 . I went through different winter gloves like Kelvin, Tempest that are not gore-tex .
Those gloves are really mentioned as winter gloves. But winter sometimes means "cold" , not rain. So my question is if the would hold pretty well in rain. I own some simple goretex gloves and 30 minutes of rain and they were still dry from inside. I am a bit concerned as the outer layer is mainly leather and how waterproof that can be. Any experience or any suggestion ? Hydratex (Like kelvin) , or goretex like other gloves ? |

Oops, so she told you everything?
Well, in a way it helped because you do not have to deal with shipping wrong sizes back D.

All winter models are fully waterproof. I personally prefer Gore-Tex models. Even though they are a little more expensive, they come with Gore-Tex "Guaranteed to keep you dry" warranty, not to mention reputation of Gore when it comes to waterproof items. They also breathe a little better. But even if you end up with non Gore-Tex glove like KELVIN, they will still stay dry even in the worst rain. Hopefully this clears the confusion. Regards,
Dennis Quote:

I just got a word on 2011 product delivery dates. VENTURA and TORNADO should be here around February 10, and the rest of the collection will follow around February 15th. Stay tuned.

Another Happy Customer
I would like to say a BIG THANKS to Dennis!
I had an issue with the elbow pads in my Cayenne Pro Jacket, bought in Canada at my local dealer. They carry no parts and were not very helpful. I asked Dennis about them and about the SaS-Tec back protector for the same jacket (to replace the original foam insert). He got back to me really quick and was very helpful. He shipped super fast and was very good about letting me know it was on its way. The goods arrived in perfect shape and he saved me 50% over what it would have cost through my dealer (if they ever got around to an order). His service is second to none that I have dealt with!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The original insert ![]() The SaS-Tec back protector ![]() The side profile of the original soft foam ![]() The side profile of the SaS-Tec (2cm thick) ![]() New Elbow pads I hope I never haveto put it to the test but thanks to Dennis it was cheap insurance and piece of mind.

Very nice looking armor! I'm curious does this come stock in the Ventura jacket, or is it something I'd have to upgrade to? (yes I'm really looking forward to the jacket

Sarah,
You can upgrade the back pad to SAS TEC, but you would have to trim it (super easy if you have sharp razor blade). I would definitely recommend to upgrade, what is $44 when it comes to your back safety?

Big thanks to Dennis here as well. Great service. I bought a Sand jacket & pants last season and I am very happy with the gear so far.
Question for Dennis: I also would like to upgrade to the SAS back protector. I understand that it will fit with minor trimming, right? Also do you carry SAS knee and elbow armor that would fit in the Sand, and if you do, do you recommend the updgrade? Any fitment issues? Cheers, norm |
