Apache Boots

Hi Dennis,

How does the sizing run on the Apache boots, pretty true to size? I have a set of older BMW Touring boots in a 43 that fit me pretty well.

Thanks for the info!

Of course you have them in stock, damn! I think I just saw my wallet running for the other side of the room to hide from me!

Might there be an advrider price?

Thanks Dennis.

I haven't seen any orders from MO but give it some time.... I really appreciate the referrals.

Your friend Randy did order a jacket this morning, and it already shipped (to IL) I wouldn't be able to include the back protector anyways because it's backordered at the moment.

The cleaners are not available on US market. I will check if REV'IT! plans to bring them here next year.

If my buddy Randy gets an Off Track from you I think I will go ahead and have you send the upgraded back protector for my Cayenne Pro. Also do you carry all the cleaners that Revit offers.

My experience was also very positive. I was in contact with Dennis by email last Monday. After getting some requested information to him he had the recommended sizes back to me by late afternoon (CST). I received confirmation of my order that evening and shipment tracking number on Tuesday. The Cayenne Pro pants and jacket were delivered this past Friday. The gear is outstanding - I got to test it in 39 degree weather coming to work this morning.

Great gear, great service - it just doesn't get much better than this....

A positive experience for me too! I'm local to Dennis and he was kind enough to wait after his normal shop hours last week, so I could come by and try on the Apache boots, which I ended up buying. Lots of great kit in his shop, in the immortal words of Arnold "I'll be back!"

Thanks Dennis!

another successful fitting!

Dennis:

You are the king when it comes to fitting people over the internet. I looked at the same size charts you did and would have bought hubby the size Large, short length Cayenne Pro pants. Well it's a darned good thing that I listened to you and bought the XL in short length! Fitting is spot on! No saggy butt and the knee pads actually seem to be in the right place. Thanks.

I'm also very, very impressed with the quality of these pants. I'll be buying myself a pair soon as my pair of HT overpants are also starting to show serious signs of wear.

Now I just have to save some money for mine!

I'll talk about it when I have it in my shop. Sounds like it will be great for the summer, mesh jacket with Superfabric and Sas Tec protection (or so I've heard, to be confirmed) Looks great too

New Customer

Hi Dennis,

I have only recently known about the Revit gear. I have stumbled across this thread and others, that reveal your acclaimed presence on the adv rider forum. Due to the testimonials of many satisfied customers you are clearly the guy to need to speak to.

Myself and a friend are hoping to purchase Rev'it Jackets/pants for adventure riding. We have been researching the Revit range, and most jackets/pants look awesome and would seem to do the job. With currently no way to see or try gear on where I live (in Melbourne, Australia), I am totally relying on your advice before my purchase.

I assume each jacket/pants have different features that may or may not suit my needs. It may be a case of telling you want I'm looking to get out of a purchase and listen to your advice.

The jackets I am considering are one of either off track, gradiant, devil, ride, warp, cayenne pro, or sirocco. The pants I am considering are one of either dakar, mistral, factor, laser, zip, cayenne pro

Anyway here is my check list. Type of riding will consists of on-road/offroad - 50/50. I will be riding with mx boots (pants over). I normally don't like too many layers, hopefully just a t-shirt and jacket. I dont like bulky jackets or pants that restict you or get too hot. Riding will be in mixed weather, thus must be fully waterproof. I'd rather be in a lighter jacket than not as I can alway wear more layers underneath. I dont want to wear additional armour under gear so gear must have reasonable protection built in.... elbows, shoulders, knee, thighs, etc.

On the Rev'it website, some jackets/pants mention 'pre-shapped fit', 'pre-shapped close fit', 'regular fit'. Could you elaborate?

Look forward to your advise on a suitable jacket and pants combo. Any deals still going for Adv Riders.

Thanks for your time.

I'll PM you right away.

Brad

Brad,

Sounds like the perfect combination for you would be CAYENNE PRO jacket with DAKAR pants. I will reply to your e-mail shortly.... Cheers,

Dennis
