Yea it was a fun evening guys, I'm keen to do it again whenever.

Here's me and Taz up the top of Mt Takorika overlooking Havelock and the Sounds while we waited for the Nelson lads to ride over:

Great to catch up briefly yesterday

Woodys immitation PD is super tidy - looks like a great buy, and I have to confess I liked the look of padders rat as well - its got a certain 'f*ck you - this is what I am' about it.

Cheers

Mark

Yes a pleasant ride & dinner. Good to meet new adv riders. Quick trip back - Schmidt was a few hundred metres off cracking the ton.

The question is whether Mark has pulled the trigger- the gun was pretty well cocked when we saw him

I'm envious. I've been thinking for a while we need to spark up the Wednesday evening rides again. Although at this stage I can only do Wed every second month...might change soon.

Nice to meet a few new faces and just murmurings at this stage for but a few cool trips in the pipeline already.

Should do a monthly ride/dinner/beer and alternate it between each side of the Whangamoas bi-monthly or something if anyone is keen?

I kept looking at the speedo on Woodmans bike and thinking..... Nah, that can't be right, it must be fcuked It honestly felt better at that speed than the 800

That sounds sensible too, I'm free most nights, but the harvest is going to kick off in a couple of weeks so finding time may a bit more of an issue then

You bastard for offering me a ride on the 800. Seriously , it is the only bike ever that I have felt comfy and confident on ever. Loved it,and yeah the GS speedo is pretty accurate. Lucky we found that private road aye?

Just up the road in Picton. Going to catch up with Te Hopo for a ride and a beer at some stage next week, will keep you in the loop and see if you're free.

Depends at what time. At the moment there are a lot of meetings to go to. Evenings should be OK. Looking forward to it.

Yea, evenings suit me and Taz seems to do most of his riding at night

Will flick you a PM Sunday night and we'll see how things are looking.

Yeah I'm known to do a few thousand assisted moth suicides a week at the moment. Night riding keeps the protein levels up at least.

I'm away Monday/Tuesday. How does Thursday work for you guys?
