Remind me and I'll bring you some in our cooler. We are taking the truck so we'll have plenty of room.

Truck also with one of those ginormous Costco coolers. I plan to bring Newcastle, coffee, Newcastle and coffee.

I think I'll leave stoopid early from Stovepipe on Friday, take as much dirt as possible to Trona and meet you there for gas. Will grab a bite also. That way I'm fully gassed up when I meet you.

Which way are you going and when? I'll have room in my truck to take some extra stuff up. I'm near the 15/210 interchange.

And for those looking to get firewood at the place off the 15 fwy, this is what TEN dollars (plus a $2 tip - he's a cute kid) will get you.

Does anyone on this trip use a Zumo or have Zumo experience off-road?

Yes and yes. I don't have experience w/ any other units though so I might not be as much help as I could be.

The more I read the more I am confused on the way to use the Zumo to follow dual sport tracks from other people. This what I think I know so far.
I can load a track as long as it is 200 points or less
If it is more than 200 I need to convert to a route using this method... http://www.zumoforums.com/index.php?topic=836.0
When I am ready to follow the route I call it up on the Zumo and we are off.

What should the settings in the Zumo be; ie off-road navigation, auto-reroute off, etc?

What happens if I am in the middle of a route and I accidentally hit re-route? Am I screwed?

If your bike has a peanut for a gas tank, then yeah, bring a can. There's gas right there at the campsite

At the turnout rate and the way this weather is going, this is shaping up to be a great weekend!
