New Tag:

Those tough enough to play Tag-o-Rama even in the winter months may recognize the construction site which is the new tag.
We first saw it on Dec. 13th 2008, but it didn't quite make it as tag 61.

Hmm I should leave work early shouldn't I?

I know where it is... Don't know if I'll have time to go home and get the camera though.

The place in the background with the big smokestack looks familiar...I think I used to go there when I drove a truck for a living.

Not sure if you mean the one in the distant background (center of frame) or closer (off to right of frame).
That "building" off to the right is interesting enough to be worthy of a tag as well. I put "building" in quotes because it was built essentially as a machine... that just happened to be in the shape of a building.
But I doubt we would get a "manpass" if someone claimed the tag and moved it 200 yards down the block. The guys in the rest of the state would be in an uproar... but perhaps another time.

The one in the distant background with what looks like a conveyor running up past the smoke stack.

I live about 3 or 4 miles from there. Do I need a "man pass" to go get this one?

Good grab Ernie.

For reference, that construction site sits at the base of the Commodore Barry Bridge in Chester PA (corner of Seaport Drive and Reany Street for Mapping purposes).
In a matter of months that site will become an 18,500 seat stadium... home to our very own Major League Soccer team.
The Philadelphia Union will begin play in MLS starting in nine months.

Here is an artist rendition of the planned stadium. I'm not sure if 9 months is enough time to change the color of the Delaware River, but it's still a nice picture.

You Bruced me. I snooze, I lose.
The Bruce photo:

This is the site of the new Professional Soccer Stadium being built in Chester.

The stadium is being built along the Delaware River, right next to the Commodore Barry Bridge.

Yeah, that is the place I used to go in the background...Scott Paper in Chester.
I sure used to drive through some shady neighborhoods to get there

I used to haul culm from NEPA in a dump trailer and bring Fly Ash back...

Looks like Eddystone Power Station, but I could be wrong.
