I knew I was doomed as soon as I passed you near Blairsville. I was still an hour away from the location but I still went anyways, lots of great riding out there.

Thanks for the note:

If you only go for one make it #1. The three are close to each other, and it would be a waste of a ride not to at least check out the area by grabbing the triple.

Got It!

I did not stop at the other locations, but have in the past. I ride this area frequently and there are lots of great roads and interesting stops. Late afternoon I noticed the tag was still available, so jumped on the bike and buzzed up. I took old route 8 to Franklin, then route 417 to route 8 again, then on into Titusville. Route 417 passes by the old Moto Guzzi dealer Monaco Cycles. John Monaco is definitely an interesting fellow and always has something new in the works.

Why not join us with these in the historical marker thread.

New Tag

This gift shop was once a tavern and a stop on the underground railroad. Local folklore claims that during the vulnerable daylight hours the stationmaster chained the runaway slaves in the basement. The rumor says you can see hooks in the walls used to confine the slaves. When you get here make sure you stop and see Rachael next door. She will have a cold one waiting for you.

Sorry for the delay in posting this. I had it already to go before noon but the site would not let me sign on.
