Be safe.

It's easy to put yourself at risk in this weather.

Ok,
I am finally home. After a very wet trip to Candy Cane Lane which is otherwise known as the 200 block of Summer Street in Duboistown PA. For 50 years they have been Candy Cane Lane and decorating and even having a parade. I should of rode down Christmas Eve on the VMax in a Santa Suit. It would have been awesome.
After arriving this morning I came to the conclussion I was freezing and could not make it home without a few supplies. But first I had to warm up and dry a little. So I went to the local sheetz for a little blow dryer time and some warm food. I was shaking uncontrolably. And soaked to the bone.

At that point I just wanted to go home. But first I had to get something dry to wear. So off to Wally World I went. I bought a dry thermal top, a fleece, dry socks and rainX inner and outer. Once dry enough I started home and in the dry for the first time of the day and felt great. So good that I decided to take the tag North to Visit Mark. From there we would take it North. But Mark was closed(must be nice). And I left his card at home. So being a 200 mile plus day in the rain already, I left the tag in his area.

THE NEW TAG!!!!!!!

The D***** Theater was built in 1936 by George D***** and continued to show movies for nearly fifty years.

I know. I know!!!! This is not a hard one. But the first time I saw it at night it was out of time. I felt like I was back in teh 40's. The neon lights at night on this building are cool We saw it the night we took the Greenwood Tag. Almost placed it there that night. But the Neon Sign at Mustang Sally's won.

If you had driven around back to my shop, I was cleaning it out, making room for the KLR. Took a ride on the Zuk noonish. Had to park it in mom's garage to make room. Lynne called me in a panic "It's out front!!!" So off I went. Round the block.
I will get the new post up first thing in the morning, when I have some time. Got some good ideas for it. May even take the KLR.

Handoffs...

Sure looks like one. Why didn't you just tag his driveway?

Dennis, you definitely win the Don Quixote award of the year for that ride. It was heroic, but definitely nuts. Chasing windmills can be dangerous. Be careful out there, especially when the temperature is near freezing, and the surfaces you are riding on are wet. But you know that already, right?

I'd actually be happy to see you keep it around Wilkes Barre for the next few months, just so we don't have to worry about you!

I was hoping to lure Mark out for a ride. I wanted to take it all the way North. To the state line. He knows that area. I am lost North of Harveys Lake. Since his place was closed, I left it.

Go Ride

Yep, teasing me like that did get my juices going (and out of the shop & on the saddle). Thanks. I may not move it too far tomorrow, but it will get moved. Maybe I can talk Lynne into joining me.
You're right DocG 'bout keeping it close to WB, but the peck o' wood would just get it and ride 100 miles to the mid of nowhere to place it. Gotta love him!
