I am using the KLR as a test the waters bike. I think I really want a GS like you, but I can't afford new right now. SO I will try doing it on the KLR for a year or so as I save waiting for that right deal. So far I am loving it. I think I like that its ratty. So if anything goes wrong, its already scratched. Takes the preassure off.

I am up to my spokes in Mude in upstae NY. It would be fun, if I was not trying to take pictures for work.
