Olympia Bushwacker sizing question
Do these jackets tend to run larger than nominal size, similar, or smaller?
In other words, if, say, you normally wear a 44 jacket, would you find a Bushwacker to be a bit big, small, or just right? |

Not sure if the sizing is the same on all the Olympia jackets......but I have a medium Patton jacket & it is sized really close to a 42R

I just bought one last week and I feel the Bushwacker runs on the small side. The XL AST feels about right but bushwacker fits a little bit tighter.

I normally wear a med and I had to buy a large.
I would say they run a bit small.

I agree that they run small. They also aren't uniform across the models on sizing. For instance I wear an XL Bushwacker but a 2xl AST.

I have the Bushwhacker. I bought a 4XL normally I wear a Tall XL when I can get that or an XXL if not. My 4XL Bushwhacker is not too big.

I've got a slightly different version. I find the Bushwacker to be sized to fit the size listed without the liner. I don't have the liner but would have to go up a size if I were to have the Olympia liner. As a result, I find that the jacket fits in the chest and the arms are long enough but arm diameter is large, as is the neck.

I am a 42 and bought size L hi-viz Bushwacker. Without the liner its roomy. I wear the Forcefield T Pro Adventure Harness underneath it and like the fit. Don't know about the fit with the liner though cause our lows are 78 - 80 this time of the year. I was surprised that the arm length was long enough for me as I prefer tall sizes. Capt D.

They run slightly smaller, I'm a 44R and it fits closely without the liner, with the liner, it is snug.

Me
5'8" 200 pounds 34 inch waist Long torso wide shoulders and long arms My Old darien was large my new darien is a 42. My bushwacker is a large and fits fine with or with out liner When the jacket was new I could really feel the back pads so the jacket felt a tiny bit too small. Now I don't notice them.
