Enjoyed meeting everyone. Hope all made it home ok. Here are a couple of shots Jeanie took that don't look exactly like Cowboy's. Let's do this again.

Cheers,

Tom

Next N Ala Dinner ?

Would anyone be up for Big Bob Gipsons in Decatur ?? We could map out a course that completely omitted I-565...

Seems like most of the riders who visited TopHat were from North of Cullman ???

Just a thought...

I can guarantee I wont ride my SR 500 to the next one ...Im still thumping !

I didn't have to ride it, but it looked and sounded good.

Cheers.

Big Bob's sounds good to me, about 8 miles from the house.

Tom..Nice pics and thanks for the remarks on ye ole thumper....Thanks for you guys riding slow so I could keep up...65-70 (indicated) is the outer range for that bike..but I was pleased that it just kept on thumping and didnt miss a beat....A little hard to kickstart hot...but otherwise, running good for a 30 year old machine....and it is truly a hoot on short, in town trips..

When my 3/4 ton diesel suburban feels rough and old...I ride the TDM to remind me how smooth it really is....when the TDM feels a little rough and old...I ride the thumper to remind me how smooth it really is ....and so on.... Ive come to realize its all a matter of perspective..

The dinner ride is a great idea and hopefully in time more and more will join in....

Why would you say something like that?

Actually they were empty (not by me). This was the only way I had to get them home! Got some interesting looks for sure.

On the way.

Enjoyed seeing everyone. The food sure was good. The Top Hat was a great choice Don.

This is where I went the next day.

The New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia.

Man Im jealous ..looks like you kept riding and headed to West Virginia....You obviously put some miles on your bike... Nice pic from WV....

Oh and when you guys headed on through Arab on the way home .... I would have joined you but needed to get on back to the house ....and it hit me later that you were out on the 431 corridor and Tom/Scott were headed that way as well...

Thanks for riding slow so I could keep up....Lets do it again soon...

Ray's the man. Looks like he blew right on through Huntsville and never looked back.

It was good to meet all your reprobates last week and look forward to more Q at Big Bob's.
