Passing of an advrider - twowheelnut
Seen on stromtrooper and fjrforum:
__________________________________________________ _______________ I'm not a regular here, but thought I'd share with you all the unfortunate passing of a forum member. Hopefully this is the right thread area. Twowheelnut (Tim Bates) passed away Friday evening at home....peacefully. I know from Googling he was a recent contributor here. He also was an FJR rider and fixture on FJRForum.com...as well as rallymaster for our first National gathering last month. There are more details at this thread. My condolences all. Tim was my good friend and I'll miss him. My condolences.
I see Alaska was on his list of Dream Rides. Blessings from the "Great White North," Mark H. |

Tim was a great guy, a better friend, pretty good on two wheels, and a better wingman you will never find!
So long my best friend, till our roads join again.

Farewell Tim,see you on the big road. He will be missed greatly, one of the few people I wish I met. But destiny has its own reasoning. He was definitely a fixture at FJRFORUM and his loss makes it a little emptier ovwer there.

the video was...excellent!!
Who ever put the video together did an excellent job. I am sure your friend would be very pleased. The soundtrack song is one of my favorites.
Sorry to hear about the passing of your friend....but it looks like he had some wonderful friends in his life. That's all one could ask for. Mr. Pete---> |

Excellent tribute
I never met Tim, don't know who he is, and I live in a different Country.
But due to that video I now know we were brothers. Rest in peace Tim, my fellow brother, Thank you for sharing his life with me in that excellent tribute Respectfully, christopher

seems like its always the good ones...no? i did not know him either, but he was obviously an asset to the lifestyle we love, so i know he will be missed.
unfortunately, that was an appropriate song for his video.
