PNW Flea Market

Alright kids, you asked for it and now you're getting it!

This thread is for regional flea market posts ONLY. Keeping the banter to a minimum will help the bikes/gear/stuff offered be more visible. Please go back to your original post and edit it once the item is gone.

All standard ADV fleamarket rules apply here, btw

Update by Johnny Drunkard:

Every month or so a Mod may opt to archive all posts that are older than 3 months. If your post gets archived & you still have the item for sale, feel free to re-post it.

To keep the noise down, all "unrelated banter" will be pruned to the archive as well.

DO NOT post eBay sellers, craigslist ads or advertisers in other places. Not for Commercial Sellers. Small time businesses* run by active inmates are excepted.

*Clarification: The small time business clause is for local folks selling goods they produce in small quantities. Not for commercial resellers, even if they are local.

For those unfamiliar with the 380 it was made for 4 years by KTM 1998-2002. It shares a bottom end with the 250-300 two strokes. It is a five speed transmission. It has the coveted WP 50mm conventional front forks. It has a WP PDS rear shock.

Heres a list of stuff Ive done.

Purchased spring of 2009. Since then....

KTM 380 head modded by Clay of Munn Racing (Waco Texas) $80.00 and two weeks of waiting!
JD jet kit (currently jetted to perfection for sea level to 2000 feet) $80.00
Added new 2002 Plastics. (orange/silver) 150.00
FMF Gnarly pipe 220.00
FMF turbinecore sparky muffler $140.00
Steahly 11 oz flywheel weight $100.00
Moose rear wheel bearings. $40.00
DID x ring chain $70.00 (hasnt stretched at all!)
Sunline 52t rear sprocket and 13t fornt sprocket. $80.00
New lower end gaskets, center case, cylinder base, head orings, right and left side crank seals, clutch gasket, ignition side gasket....Too much in labor (yours truly) to count.
Moose handguards (well used) $50.00
G2 throttle cam (to mellow the hit) $100.00
New CR250 throttle cable
currently on a Metzeler MH with 3 rides on it (for now)

probley lots more but im tired.

This bike is a blast. It is not for a first timer. It has no compression release and at last check it had 195PSI on five kicks.

I have numerous videos on my Vimeo account related to this bike. It is a handful.

I thought Id put it here before I send it out to CL with a higher price.

Located in Lake Stevens $2400

Sold this to a friend about a year and half ago and now its up for sale again.

bout 13k miles on it now. and completely dialed in a ready to go. I personally tore this bike down and rebuilt it from the ground up at 11k miles. When I got it I went through everything with a fine tooth comb and updated or replaced alot of stuff.

Dave wants 4,000.00 for it. PM for contact number or email Dave directly at whitlocknapier@aol.com

Thought I might give it a try over here ... 4 wheels mean you fall over slightly less ....

2003 Jeep Rubicon Rockcrawler

For sale or trade my beloved crawler.

Bought new in 2004 and modified a little bit.
The good :
Top spec Wrangler Rubicon six cylinder manual, with air, stereo all the bells and whistles.
26000 miles, 1 owner.
RockJock Dana60s front and rear, rear Detroit locker, front ARB.
Complete custom long arm suspension, rear moved back 7", front forward 2".
Hydro assist steering, Walker Evans coilovers on the front, 1/4 ellipticals on the rear.
42" Iroks on 17" Walker Evans beadlocks.
Six point roll cage, runs through the dash with minimal intrusion into footspace.
Warn t9.5 winch with onboard controls.
Fuel cell recessed into floor, rear seat still fits or can be swapped out for a large tool box.
Bullet proof tube fenders on the front, raised 4" over stock for added clearance. Rear quarters armored, and sill guards.

Includes trailer, not the prettiest, but works just fine (trailered the Jeep from Detroit to here, via Moab, with no issues).

The Bad:
Body damage. It's a Jeep, what do you expect?! Worst damage is from a roll in Moab last year, so the hood, windscreen and grill got a little squashed. All bolt on stuff. There is other damage too, this vehicle was built to use, and has leaned on a few rocks and trees along the way.
There is a leak in the air lines to the front ARB ... still works fine, compressor just cycles more than I would expect. Should be an easy fix.
Turn signals need wiring in, I never got around to finishing that job.
Cruise control removed to fit hydro reservoir .... :)

Overall:
This Jeep wasn't built in someones back yard, but with Tommy C the legendary Jeep builder from Michigan. Everything is over built and I never broke anything. This vehicle is capable of some insane trails and obstacles, and it is only my plans to travel that make me think about selling. At the price, I am getting back a tiny fraction of what I put into it, and even with the damage, represents a significant saving over what it would cost to put this thing together yourself. Please remember though, that when they're are this built, road manners suffer! You would have to be pretty hardcore to consider this as a daily driver, even though it still has a stereo, carpets and comfy seats ....

Trades:
I will consider trades, exotic Italian motorcycles (no Harleys), sports or classic cars etc ...

First picture is before the roll, the others are after.

Everything needed to assemble a rebuilt Chevy 400ci V8. and a LOT more stuff........

Howdy All,

Some of you folks may have seen the Jeep that I used to have, anyway I have had sitting in my garage for the last ten years a spare engine. The engine is NOT assembled, the block has been honed, new cam bearings installed, brass freeze plugs installed, oil galleys have been drill-tapped and have had threaded plugs installed, the heads have been rebuilt, the crank has been turned. I have still in the original UNOPENED boxes all the rings, bearings, gaskets, seals, true roller timing chain and indexable sprockets, low RPM-high torque cam and lifters, high volume oil pump etc. The crank will need to have the journal surfaces re-polished because of slight surface rust this can be done by hand no need to be re-machined, the block will have to have glass breaker run through the bores as they have slight surface rust from sitting for so long. If you know anything about the price of parts you know that what I am asking for this whole setup is about the cost of the unopened new parts, all the machining and work done to the heads, block and crank would be for free. $500.00, come get it out of my way.

Set of 350 Chev V8 heads, rebuilt at the same time the 400 heads were done, $100.00

I have stick flywheels for the 400ci V8 as well as stick harmonic balancers, assorted V-belt pulleys $100.00 takes it all.

I have a "Warn" Over-Drive, that fits a Jeep Model 18 transfer case, these are VERY RARE, it is complete and in very good shape, $300.00

I have the rear end out of an International 3/4 ton pickup, Dana 60 with 8 lug drum brake setup on it, good gears I have forgotten what ratio. $50.00

I have a complete CJ2A windshield with good glass. $200.00

I have a "desert" radiator out of an old Jeep military probably from the late 1940's. $50.00

I have a compete 205 transfer case out of something, had it so long I have forgoten what it came out of. $150.00

I have a front axle housing out of a Jeep M715, the housing is empty but in good shape has spindles. $25.00

I have a REAL Dana 60 Power-Loc differancel that works with gear ratios of 4.11 and LOWER this is also hard to find, has GOOD clutches in it. $250.00

I also have a Chevy 350 V8 block and crank, set of pistons, all would need to be rebuilt, get it out of my way $50.00

I have a Holly 600 cfm vacuum secondary carb, setup for off road lots of vent work and other tricks have been done to this carb. $100.00

I have other stuff that needs to go along the line of these parts, I know I'll find more as I dig all this stuff out. If your interested in more then one of these items or hopefully ALL of them make me a package deal offer I want it GONE.

Anybody have a BMW Rear brake caliper?

I managed to drop my bike off the center stand when I was changing the rear tire, and looks like I've severely damaged the rear caliper. Anybody have one in the Portland area for a 2000 R 1150 GS? I'm supposed to head down to the bay for a job interview on tuesday, but this may cause a bit of a problem.

Anyone? I could even just borrow one from someone. I really need some help here.

little welding project

Hi all -- I am looking for a little bit of welding on my new luggage racks. Any recommendations for services in Seattle? Close or in White Center is best, but I will go anywhere as needed.

Happy Trails Panniers

Boise area only - These panniers have been great but I'm selling my bike. They are the 9" wide Teton, black powder coated panniers with the special exhaust side box a full 9" at the top - this is an upgrade. Usually, a 7" box is used on the left side. With the 9" you have much more usable space. These boxes have been used. They have some minor dings and scratches but nothing major. $475 . Email with questions - Call 440-5966 to view.

Anyone got part-worn Dualsport tires?

Hey all

I wondered if anyone in the Seattle/Vancouver BC/Oregon area has any partly worn dualsport tires (18" & 21") they'd be willing to part with for a reasonable price?

I am on a RTW trip and rather than heading straight to a shop to buy brand new, I thought I would see if anyone’s got anything lurking in their garage they might like to sell.

I am staying in the Seattle area at the moment, and over the next week heading up to Vancouver BC. So if there is anyone in this vicinity with a tire give me a shout!

Ta very much!
