Wtt drz400e Wa plated + cash for newer dr650

I've got an excellent condition e model 400 that I have for sale in the flea market and on Bellingham craiglist. I'm looking for a newer model dr650 I can take down to South America, preferably under 7000 miles. Larger tank and sargent seat a plus. I have the drz valued at $2100 and am only open to trades for a dr650. I'd take the 400 south but the fuel in Bolivia would kill it with that 12.2-1 compression. Thanks, Jim Belllingham area

XR650L ($3100) and XR250R ($2200) dualsport for sale.

copied from craigslist..

2003 XR650 L Dual sport motorcycle. Great shape, completely customized for adventure riding.
CRF450 USD Fork conversion. FCR40MM Carb, FMF Q4 exhaust, UNI Filter . Skid plates, bark busters, brake gaurd. HID Headlight, CRF rear fender and LED tail light, mini turn signals, heated grips, heated jacket plug. Pro Moto billet rack, Shorai battery relocation and lightening kit (shaves about 30lbs). Heavy duty pegs, Oil cooler, handlebar riser and oversize handlebars. Trailtech Vapor computer, oil temp gauge. Clarke 5gal tank.
This is the most capable XR 650 L you will EVER see in this state. It runs like a raped ape in the woods and can hang with the the big adventure bikes on long rides. I have rode 2-up through Alaska and back with my wife and 50+lbs of gear on the back with no problems. I ride with YZF450s to trials bikes in the woods and have no problem keeping up. I have put a lot of time and money into this bike and am very hesitant to sell. I have a kid on the way so I am looking for a Ural sidecar or WR450F. This bike is more beastly than Chuck Norris's bike (he rode a KLR650). Bike has 37k total mi. Valves are in spec as of January. I have absolute faith in this bike's reliability, as I rode to Alaska without any problems, and if I still have it by April, I will be riding to Colorado for another adventure ride.

Alaska 2-up with my wie

2001 XR250R
2001 Honda XR250 Plated for street use. Has been plated since day one, no issue of losing the license plate. Cruise at 60MPH and ride the gnarliest singletrack you can find in the same day. Most durable enduro ever produced in history.

CR Kayaba USD fork conversion front suspension. HID LED headlight, brighter than both my car headlights combined. Trailtech speedometer computer. ASV Foldable levers. Plug for heated gear or air compressor. Skid plates, chain gaurd, brake gaurd, bark busters. XRs only billet aluminum rack. FMF Q4 exhaust, UNI filter, XRs only oil temp gauge. New Supersprox sprockets and X ring chain. New tires, Tubliss in rear. Oversized handlebars 1-1/8". Mini turn signals, all running lights to be street legal.

This is the most beastly monster of a XR 250 you will ever see. I ride from my house to the trails and back, and have no problem putting new water cooled mx bikes in their place on the trails. I dual sport all over Washington, even on the freeway with comfortable RPMs. Will only consider trade for a WR450F. Oil changed and air filter cleaned every few rides, valves checked every few months. Runs like new, starts from dead cold on the third kick every time. I ride from sea level to 7,000ft and it runs well at all elevations without playing with the carb.

A must-have for the kids!!!

F800gs Parts n' Such

First off, I am posting this PNW only, pick up is preferred. Here is what I have:

Touratech Front Sprocket cover, fyi one screw broke while removing it. I will knock off .08 cents to buy a new one.

I have a stock seat regular height

Stock muffler or as I think of it 20 lb paperweight

Stock grab bars incase you want to make your own pannier racks and need a spare.

Internal stock springs for the front suspension (Free)

Stock levers

Also, If anyone is interested I have some golf clubs I wouldn't mind getting rid of. I have had surgery on both shoulders and recently dislocated (mildly) my sterno-clavicular joint so I don't think golf is in my future. The are decent tommy armours I bought about two years ago, comes with bag umbrella, a couple of swing trainiers and a nicalaus air max driver.

Shoot me some offers.

Aerostich Darien Pants Sz 36 Gray

Title and pictures pretty much sum it up. The pants are 2-3 years old, very good shape, pretty much just broken in. Just cleaned and rewaterproofed with NixWax products. The only flaw is the fly zipper is missing a tooth about 3/4 of an inch from the bottom, I have safety wired the zipper just above it so everything still functions well. Armor and belt are included. Asking $200.00.I'm in Olympia, but I also end up in Seattle quite often.

custom aluminum panniers

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcy/2846827222.html

I built these custom aluminum panniers for my '93 cbr900rr but it could be made to fit other bikes. I am moving and trying to liquidate some of my larger items. it is my own design, a one piece horseshoe shape that straddles the subframe. .080 5053 aluminum sheet with some .125 6061 in places. all TIG welded, not the prettiest in places but sound. there are two deep compartments, one shallow middle one for easy access, all sharing a common lid that folds to the rear of the bike and acts as a table when folded out. the total dimensions are 31x17.25x16 and the tunnel is about 11x11 at the lowest point, then slopes upwards towards the rear for the angle of the subframe. the compartment on the right slopes to clear the exhaust pipe.
obviously, these panniers are huge and bad ass. I have done a couple weeklong road trips with them and they held all my crap with ease and I was not packing light. I have well over $100 in materials and at least 20 hours in design and fabrication. I think to get something like this made would cost you well over a thousand bucks. I think I'll ask $200. trade for DR650 parts.

PLEASE CALL!! Email tag is not effective. (seattle area code) nine two O - 5 seven 7 eight.
