Update! 2011 KLR650, Price dropped to $5100

Still updating for Uncle Jack; I guess he's in a really big hurry to move the KLR. He's dropped the price to $5100. Check it out, about a dozen or so posts back.

Thanks.

Help with a bike?

Hey everyone,

I know this is a long shot but I figured I would at least try. I am looking to rent/borrow a dual sport for a ride I have coming up a week from Friday. I can't really find anything that I want to buy that isn't terribly overpriced, but have made reservations and plans with family to do the trip already. I will keep looking for one to buy, but if I can't find one I would hate to miss the trip. I would be willing to compensate you with cash and prove to you that I am an adequate rider, pass a background check, give a urine sample etc. Even sign for insurance purposes. Please pm me for my number if you are willing and we can talk details.

I am located about an hour west of Seattle and 3 hours north of Portland.

Thanks guys

FS: 2000 640 Adventure - priced to sell.

Sold - and already picked up.

I will be replying to the PMs that were sent to me stating the fact and see where it all goes ......

Yup another 640adv, though hopefully this one is priced to sell.

Why am I selling it? So I can buy Twisty Sister's 640adv ......

2000 KTM 640 Adventure with 8100 miles on it.

Location: Eugene, OR

Price: 3000.00 or best offer - but for an inmate, because I have this posted on FB, and about to on CL - if anyone of you are really interested, I'll sell it for 2500.00 - firm on that price.

Clear OR Title in hand.

The Good:
Cosmetically: 8.0 to 8.5 out of 10, not that that matters so much with a bike like this, but still.
Mechanically - in top notch shape, with 50mm front forks, and WP adjustable rear shock. D606's on it with 80 percent tread left. Includes KTM OEM tank bag, rear gear / tool bag, custom made rear rack with heat shield on left side, and protruding downward section on right side. Stock exhaust - had a full major go through last year with all new fluids, fork seals, brake pads, etc. Upgraded wiring from Eastern Beavers for Sylvania H2 bulbs (not HID) - lowering links currently on her to drop her 1 1/2 inches, but I still have the original dog bones - OEM center stand - and SW-Motech side stand. Hard wired GPS cable for Garmin 26XX through 28XX GPS units, Ram mount on bars for GPS unit - and both battey tender and quick connect cables (for heated gear, etc) Also has heated grips on it .......

The Bad:
The OEM IMO trip computer went on her, so the mileage stands at 000000 miles, and the speedo is off. I also have another IMO (spare), that the battery is dead on that as well, so even swapped in, the mileage will still read 000000 miles. But! If you slap a GPS unit on her, you'll have an accurate speedo, or you could replace the IMO with a trail tech, or Acewell .....
Due to the IMO, and odometer, is why I'm offering her up to an inmate for 2500.00 - BTW - this was a Mark Woodlief bike, prior to me owning it - so during it's time with Mark, she was completely rebuilt, and during my time, she's been totally maintained. The only thing wrong is the IMO.

Here's some pics, and if anyone is interested and / or wants more pics, just PM me. Mucho thanks ....... G.

Again ....... thanks for looking ......

P.S. - I'll be putting her up in the big flea market in the next day or two .......

G.

Husqvarna 17" SM wheel set w/ tires in Seattle area

Hey guys & gals,

It was recommended to me by someone on PNWriders that I should list this wheel set here. These are near new, they were taken off my 09 SMR450 at about 400 miles. Mounted and balanced MT60's have about 50 miles on them. The wheel set does NOT include rear sprocket, brake rotors, or spacers. These should fit most of the TE range and I would really like to see them go to someone semi local in WA or OR.

$600 for the set.

Please PM or email with questions. steveb2276 (at) comcast (dot) net

Thanks!

BMW for sale

1999 R1100 RT with 63,000 miles
Always garaged, dealer serviced, all records included.
BMW system cases and top box (not shown) included.
This bike has never been down, and has very few minor scratches from normal use.
It is missing a small side panel from the right side, as seen in the pic.
Also suffering from a problem with the speedo,,cable or lower drive unit, not sure, but it is not working.
ready to ride to your favorite destination,, tires are fair, but will want changing before too long.

Asking $4850.00 as is.
The bike is at my shop in Springfield for those who may like to take a look.

Bike Lift

Works just fine. It is definitely not new. Dirty. Rusty wheels. And so on. New these are sold or were sold under a bunch of brands, including Sears, at $50 to $100 or more new.

Price: -sold-
I'm in NE Portland if you want this piece of exotica from the orient.

It'll work on anything, if you have enough lumber.

Tapping my vast experience with Harleys, I would have to say that I have no idea. Come get it. And bring the painting.
