Awesome bike! I've been drooling over it on craigslist the past few days. Too bad you're not up for trades, I've got a KTM 400 EXC and Honda XR650R I'd give you for it.

GLWS!

chev V-8, new engine, and engine stand.

I bought this engine from a 1969 Chevy 1 ton work truck.
The plan was to put it into a school bus we had at the time.
It was originally a 307, but has been bored one size over.
It has ALL new parts, except for original block and crank, both of which passed all the tests done before the rebuild.
Bored .O30" over by Skagit Machine, (they built engines for the Skagit Speedway racers back then, in 1979.)
Assembled by the helicopter mechanic nephew of the shop owner,,who is my close and trusted friend.
Engine assembled with all new parts, pistons, rods ballanced, valves,,everydamnthing, new!
It has been on an engine stand and rotated by hand periodically, since then. Has never been run!
Sitting on a moveable and adjustable engine stand, and comes with boxes of old stock parts and stuff. I think it needs a manifold and carb.
This engine, which was never completed or run, needs to be torn down, cleaned, and re-assembled,re-torqued, and put into use. It's like a kit,,or hobby project for your kid who wants to learn about engines,,all clean and new inside, a virgin!.
Squirting Marvel mystery oil in the cylinders and turning the crank by wrench every month is no wear, and no guarantee,, and rings and such may be stuck in the pistons.
That's why the need for a teardown, and re-assembly.
No pics,, but I could manage some if I have to.
For years, I kept all the paperwork and receipts for all the work done, and the parts purchased,,but after this many years,, ink fades, receipts get wet, or mildew, or disappear,, so this is a "take my word for it", on the condition of the engine.
Someone bring me $1000 , and take the engine and the stand, and the boxes of parts.
Become a hero in your kid's eyes, start him on a project now while he's 12,,

He bought this bike with his own money as a "fixer upper" that he can ride and learn to wrench on. Part of owning is he will buy parts and wrench on it himself. We are going through it together and having fun! I am very proud of the young man he is becoming.

1990s Honda BF20 (Now called BF2) Outboard Motor

- 2HP
- Short Shaft
- Direct Drive
- Integral tank
- Starts\runs fantastic!
- Regularly serviced and in nice shape
- Exhaust is water cooled, and pump spits water great!
- I don't think it has a lot of hours; I used it on a small sailboat, prior owner used it on a dinghy for a bigger boat
- Uses an amazingly small amount of fuel; you will be absolutely shocked at how long a liter of gas lasts!
- Amazingly light - you will find yourself carrying it in one hand: perfect motor for a canoe!
- 1/2 throttle was enough to move my 18ft, 1600lb+ sailboat quite briskly, even against strong current and wind on the Columbia! It has an incredible amount of power for a 2hp!

I can not say enough good things about this motor, I love absolutely everything about it; I think it is an AMAZING bit of engineering. BUT, after many modifications to my lift bracket, the shaft is still an inch or two shy of being long enough.

$375 is the exceptionally firm ADV price, and that's picked up at my place in Portland, on my schedule. That's a bargain; I paid MUCH more for it!
