Third pic is on the road north of Bodie, Ca. The first ones are on Wildrose Canyon turning off to the Augburry lookout. No pics from the lookout as the clouds you see in the background started dumping.

OK not relly off road but it was 105 miles from town, 80 miles of dirt roads some parts where very rough large rocks, water etc. Did it two up the other vehicles looked at us like we where crazy and the bike had around 1200 miles on it. I'm sure glad I got thoese worry beads don't think I could have done it with out them.

This one is from the OBDR last fall and my favorite pic of the big GS.

Total of about 800 miles of dirt, gravel, rocks, sand, mud, rivers and just about anything else you can think of. If anyone asks. You can do the OBDR on a big GS BUT I wouldn't suggest it.

Cheers!

Hi everyone.

Well, this isn't exactly a GS but a 1150R (my GS is in the background, though )

My friend made his Off-road diploma on a street bike somewhere in the Muntii Lotrului in Romania.

There is nothing between Argentina and Chile - the two countries are contiguous. I've been over that route a couple of times in a 4x4. Nice ride. I always have trouble with papers at those remote border control checks. Was the bike rented? If so, where did you rent it?
