I just want to point out that you guys are killing me. I want a Guzzi so bad I can taste it. My very understanding wife drew the line at a Guzzi, because they already look similar to an airhead which I already own (at least the classic Guzzis). So, until I can pony up more money, no Guzzi for me. Or, I can ditch the airhead ( not likely). Please stop posting pics of these sexy machines. Oh the pain.

Patina? you want patina? Hows this. I bought this one at bikeweek in 98 or so, just for parts. (it had sat outside a beachfront motel for 4 years) Found out the motor wasnt stuck, so I dicked around with it & got it running. Had to replace the cables & some of the wiring (I left the old wires on it to add character) It still runs great, & never needs work, which is a good thing, because all of the bolts are rusted solid.
I did add a couple sidecovers on it last year, real nice shiny chrome ones. Its funny, cuz I like to keep them polished, & they REALLY stick out
these pics are a few years old, but it doesnt look any better now.
I did find some old crusty half rotten harley saddlebags for it tho.

Doug
