1992 R100GS - Progressive shock rubs tire
I recently bought a '92 R100GS with a sidecar, and now I'm in the process of sorting it out.
The sidecar uses the same shock as the bike, the bike has a stocker, the hack has a progressive unit. I switched them over as an experiment last night (the stocker is way to soft, and I'm not a big guy.) Anyway, the spring on the progressive hits the end of the tire (gripster.) Anyone else have this problem? Is there an |

the spacer from a k75 with fix the problem. i think it's under 10 bucks.

Take a very close look at the shock rod where it goes into the aluminum under the snubber at the bottom there is a groove under the snubber where mine broke.!!!! My Progressive rubbed the tire just before the shock SNAPPED IN HALF!
