Denver to San Diego - The "Dirty" Way
Hi folks - Flying to Denver next week to pick up a 620 Adventure I'm buying from another board member (RedRice):
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=378074 Planning on taking ~4-5 days to ride it back to San Diego.......looking for suggestions/tracks......I'd like to take back roads/dirt roads to the greatest extent possible........thinking of dropping down to Durango (suggestion for good moto shop in Durango to throw on new rear tire?).........then cutting over towards Grand Canyon??.....any suggestions/tracks would be appreciated......not looking for anything overly technical (on this trip) because I have A LOT of ground to cover and unfortunatley I can't take a week or more to cover it.....any suggestions on places to see/stay would also be appreciated......or a completely alternate route......I'm open to anything.......I'll be traveling light so not camping..... Thanks!
