As far as flags go.....there was a couple of Vets there, whom I asked to move so I could take a pic. They may have raised the flags after I was there (flags are UP in both get & Bruce pix).

Presidential Proclamation for Memorial Day

President Obama has directed that the flags of the United States of America be flown at half-staff beginning at sunrise until Noon on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2011. At Noon, the flag should be raised to full-staff.
The proper protocol for displaying the flag at half-staff on Memorial Day is to raise the flag in the morning briskly to the top of the flag pole, then slowly lower it to half-staff. At noon, the flag should be raised back up to the top of the flag pole.

The hard part about the Garden State TOR is not the get. The hard part now is finding a new unique tag that is relatively interesting. We are now up to over 1600 tags! Understandable that a boarder jumper might get confused.

For future re-tags, in order to keep the game moving, I would like to make a suggestion, pending Sallydog's approval.

From the Big Apple (where re-tags are becoming the norm)... "If the previous tagger wants to claim the re-tag, and posts his old tag "got it!" photo first (yes, this would be another "file photo" exception), he should be given the tag...........AGAIN! That's fair, isn't it?"

i still say re-tags are out. there is still plenty of roadside bullshit to grab up. for sure you must check pc's list before using a tag (and check by town, county, and actuall name) but there is no reason to tag the same old shit. whoever re-tags will be given a fair amount of time to get a new tag.

If there's anything in the way of your bike and the train, your bike in front of the structure behind the train will work too. There should be a clear shot of that from a road within 100 yards.
