Drake was born in Andover and Rt. 206 was formerly Rt. 31 before 1953. All Google'able!

Got to say, that's a really nice tag

. At a lunchtime discussion last Sunday some were of the opinion that all the tags were done in NJ and there should be a 'reset'. I think there are plenty of tags out there, and still some gems to be found. Just my latecomer opinion

Damn! You guys keep using my emergency tags

Have taken quite a few pix there for backup.......never had to use them

Think I even have pic with old Multi

The winter is the best time for that as the weeds are dead. Early in the spring someone plants flowers & etc. But then they just let it go

Sussex County’s first free public school was constructed on Halsted Heights, above the railroad station, in January 1869.
By 1916, the Newton Public School was overcrowded, housing not only the primary grades, but the Academic Department of the High School as well.
On March 31, 1916, the Newton Board of Education employed the New York architectural firm of Rasmussen & Wayland to draw plans for a high school building to stand on Halsted Heights on grounds already part of the school campus.
The new auditorium of Newton High School opened with a concert on March 5, 1920.

Sidebar - my grandfather went to high school in this building, graduating in 1931. The building is now a middle school.
