hiya Motorans,
The Katto is clean as once u hit the red dust it is finer than sand and a few thousand years older it gets on your drivetrain and makes this noise that sounds like you have wrecked bearings and front sprocket is trashed. It sounds like throwing a heap of metal parts in a blender and trying to make a milkshake.
So every town with red dust roads into them (same as QLD beach access ferry roads) have these big self serve pressure washes cost about $2 to $4 i blasted all the red dust of the drive train and go back to having a silent drivetrain. If u don't clean it is unbelievabley loud I learnt something though at the start when it made that noise I lubed it more big mistake makes it worse so minimal lube. The aboroginals have done paintings with the same dust some of them are 20 to 30,000 years old so it is not going anywhere when on your chain just grinding the shit out of it.

Great pics mate! I stayed out at White Cliffs a couple of years back. Beer in the pool watching the sun set over the hills and the mines = .

My workmates and I have this theory when it comes to wildlife out that way. On those roads they get so bored, that they play chicken with any vehicle coming past, just for something to do. I mean, why else could they POSSIBLY choose that one little bit of earth to run across at that precise moment?
