Hey the ST's running....it's the TS I'm concerned about! When are we getting the 2 smoke on the road?!

I bought my Dad a non-running Honda 350 a while back. I finally got the cylinders bored for him this Christmas. I've got the engine assembled and in the frame. I'm waiting on some carb rebuild kits and should have it done in a few weeks if all goes well. He hasn't ridden in 40 years. He passed the written exam to get his motorcycle license last week and he's bugging me day, noon and night to get his bike on the road. Man I can't wait!

You mean his permit, right?

I've got to get this R90S out of my garage but I keep finding things I need to fix. Anybody have a /6 left hand switch?

No, but he badly wants his hi/low beam switch to work.. It looks like somebody fused 2 wires together to bypass the hi??? Why would you want to do that????

Don't get me started on the dumb things PO's have done to bikes. One of my frames has holes all in it ... why you ask? Because everywhere he saw a brown wire he drilled a hole to attach it to the bike. It's a ground after all, right?

PS - What year is that /6?

Wow. Yeah you win the 'dumbest PO' story.

Jenna, is it the wires or the switch? We can fix the wires, and maybe the switch itself too. Are you going to be around this week?

it's a 76 R90S I think a /6 or /7 switch would work. It's possible to repair the switch, there just isn't a whole lot of room. It looks like it's just the wires. I'm working tomorrow to friday. How bout Saturday? Gonna try to get the bike back to him this weekend.

Fred, finish your welding project??

How about this ... Brad was a good sport and gave my little girls a 'target'. Nothing says summertime like water balloons.

eh it lives, it dies, it lives again. Hard to keep an airhead down even when you ride 'em like I do. Did I tell you I bottomed out my brake pedal while taking a corner standing up? Scared the shit out of some lady in a minivan. I might have puckered a bit myself too

Man I've hardly looked at ADV in over a month. Summer classes are rough. What are you up to? Did the racing thing fall through?

Leaving the the morning for WV....wish you were racing with me... But, at least the airhead rally team will double in size. I'm quite nervous, they just release the maps....and those are some twisty ass roads.! wish me luck.
