I have a stock throttle so I'm single pull to a splitter. Then bill at rocky pointe made the splitter to carb cables. They're nice!! What throttle pull are you using?

I had a repop twin pull for a triumph I was using. MotionPro makes their own throttles so I'm thinking of buying their's.

2 weeks and $50 for custom cables. The throttle's 33 bucks.

Somehwere i mentioned but cant find it now, get them two inches longer than you think you need and buy spares! Have to stay one step ahead of cable failure. Athough its my clutch cable that always breaks.

I haven't gotten to the wrecking part yet, but it's coming!

I took the windshield off my brother's VMax. I think it looks classy. It's not as big as the Harley windshield but it keeps the wind off my chest at least. I rode with it to FL before I dismantled the bike.

I made the stand-offs from some ground lugs and 1/4" SS tubing from the hardware store. They held up to highway winds fine and I can angle it anywere I want it.

Hey Brad, there was a huge explosion at that coal plant we used to ride by up near Dallas. Guess a generator blew up and sounded like a bomb went off.

No kidding. I've got 7 more days if nothing gets held up. It'd sure be nice to have a spare DRZ around right now.

@Jenna I hope nobody got hurt. I've met a few folks that work at that plant.

noooooope. Finals the very next week. I've got 1 more semester and then I might actually get to do something fun. I'm sure you know how annoying trying to work and go to school at the same time is. Hopefully it'll buy us a lot of gasoline one day!

No school since last summer...hardly any work either.........my living arraignments are about like yours. Starting back to school in August on my own dime, then my time will be very limited for anything but school. Only good part is If I make it past the 1st 8 wks, then two days/ week I'll have to travel via motorcycle to some hospital out of town, so I will be riding... to cheap to drive unless i carpool with another student.

I just finished my doctorate about 4 weeks ago... I can't say I've had more time.... but I no longer feel guilty for wrenching for twenty minutes! Good luck with the finals!

I've got those full-time study pains too... doing my masters at the moment and just got back from a completely self-funded 3.5 month working stint in SE Asia.
My wallet hurts and my airheads sit neglected.

I just swapped the starter in the R90 so I should have that back on the road once I get the registration renewed.
The G/S wants some serious money for the next step.
Back to full-time work next week to compliment my full-time study... I wonder how how much time is left after that
Pay off a few grand debt and then push the rest towards the G/S.
I will finish my G/S this year. (don't laugh, that is a rather bold statement for me!)

A bit late here ... but I 'made my own' throttle puller. I got the master cylinder from the DRZ forks and then hacked a /6 double puller ... It works great. And 'standard' BMW parts (except for the body).

And now you can see how it fits around the master cylinder ...
