Btome, That looks cool. Do you belong to a off road club?
I have a X-Terra and have only road the Atlanta ORV Rout, My wife said "it was OK, would have been more fun if it was more challenging" Your trip looks like it was lots of fun!

Who all is heading up to Wolverine this weekend for the AMA/GLDS Adventure Ride?

I will be leaving Saturday morning early, to get up there between 8 or 9 AM.
I haven't met anyone from this area yet so, I have a blue KTM 990 S and a orange and white REI tent. hope to see some of you up there this weekend.

Also, if anyone wants to ride up together, let me know

Jerry,

I'm heading up Friday afternoon with JP. We will be in my White '99 GMC pick-up with a cap on it towing a three rail motorcycle trailer with a KTM 400exc and an Yamaha wr426. I take it that you're riding the ADV route with your 990, we will be riding the DS route but can hang out at the campfire after a great day of riding.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge

Last week quite a few of you chimed in when I asked about my planned trip to do the BRP.

I decided to change the plan a bit from the BRP, but I'm putting together a chronical of the trip.

Needless to say, it was a great trip.

Is manwhoring ride reports accepted practice here?

D,

Not sure what you mean by manwhoring. Sounds kind of debased. And there are probably better ways to disclose your personal preferences.

That said, we encourage ride reports. And the shameless self-promotion therein.

I, for one, have already subscribed to your thread. Thanks for promoting it here, might have missed it otherwise.

Be safe.

Looks like you guys had fun up there.

Any possibility of taking the bikes up that way?

Bruno belongs to a land rover club. I to have a xterra (Red 08 off road edition), but have yet to get it in the mud. Been telling Bruno to take me to the 4wheeling spots. Maybe after it is too cold to ride two wheels.

Hmmm . . I suppose it could be done. It would make a fantastic trip.

The problem would be the depth, and possible submerged hazards, of the water. With no bypasses.

The terrain could be challenging as well ;
