Btw, nice pic of moving the turtle. I hit a massive turtle once thinking it was a rock. I almost endo'd. I was in high 3rd on my YZ250. Didn't hurt the turtle, but got some unexpected air at an awkward angle. Didn't expect it to move with me upon hitting it.

Hopefully that turtle didn't get jumped before he was moved off the side of the road. ;)

Although an unwritten law, it is mandatory that all motorcyclist stop to assist any turtle in danger of the road way. All other critters cross at their own risk. Just thought I'd share that tidbit of forgotten lore.

Saved a large snapper last night on the way home, but the 7 deer crossing 50 feet in front of me this morning were left on their own . Better wake up than 3 cups of coffee for sure.

He did piss but having done this before, I carefully picked him up by the tail, while keeping the impending stream pointed away from my leather clad hand and body, and gently flung him into the ditch. Ungratefull bugger. Probably hissing too but with the custom fit earplugs, I couldn't tell.

Thought I would give you guys a shout. Me, TCJim and my brother meeting at the DNR ORV parking lot on W32nd, west of 37 (north/west of Baldwin) at 9. Kind of a hike for you guys. All street legal DNR single track. Usually stop at Ruby Creek for a burger/gas. 4-6 hr ride. Were on a couple of XCFw 250's and a 300. Second ride of the year for me and first one on rebuilt 300.

Hey guys - long time lurker from Michigan. I recently bought a 01 Triumph. Live in northern Michigan (Atlanta area). I have found the Triumph dealer in Traverse City to be next to worthless so far. Any of you have experience with the dealer in the Detriot area? I would like to find a good reliable Triumph dealer for when I need something quick such cant wait for shipping delays.
