More beauty on Drummond Island:

So after hearing all sorts of crap about how MI riders don't ride rocks very often.... how none of these guys know how to ride rocks... rocks are scary... about how many in the group had been seeking psychological therapy because of rocks... I soon found out that it was all a hoax. These guys haul ass and kick ass on rocks (and on sand... and on single track... and in mud...).

So I guess these steps must be well known on Drummond Island... maybe a place where lesser riders (jeepers) spend an extended period of time trying to get up them? I'm not sure. But within what seemed like minutes of our arrival at the point there were quads.... then jeeps... then trucks... when we finished our lunch and returned to the steps to find 15-20 people waiting for a show.

I think our group did not give them the show they wanted. They got kind of board just watching everyone ride up with no problems.

PBR Street Gang bucking the trend and going for the left side line.

You get the idea. By now the crowd was getting a bit board, looking at their watches, wondering why they came out. BrunoT.'s stalker was getting dirty looks from the crowd as he had promised a real show.

Joe tried to liven things up a bit.

All in all... I think they wanted their money back.

Nice pics - looks like a fun trip as always. Just remember, it's not the rider, it's the bike.

She put her two hot pasties on my plate and dropped some poutine on the table. Then poured on hot gravey.

That's right !

Now we just need to figure out what the hell Mike's done to that DR 650 of his. We can't keep up in rocks, single track, two track, or any track !

Just checking in from Mount Clemens. Bought my girlfriend a KLX 650c and myself a 2000 DRZ400S. When I'm back in the states in September, I'm going to try and convince my girlfriend to hit some trails with me in the thumb.

Here's some crazy action from Braden at last weekend's Rally West Virginia (closed course racing).

I know who's leading if he comes up to ride Ted's Chandler Hill Challenge with us, that boy's tough !
