Who's going to Chandler Hill?

I'm considering going if I can get my bike up and together in time. Was getting ready to redo my valve cover gaskets (they leak) and check clearances when I shot my eyes with engine degreaser today on a nice ricochet thanks to an allen head bolt. Took me out of commission for a while so I said screw it.

Seems my bike is randomly sprouting leaks all over, cause the clutch case is leaking too. Last dual sport ride I had, I did 75 miles and came back with half oil capacity. Scary. Luckily she runs fine and I don't see any metal filings anywhere, so I think I'm golden.

Oh yea I'd be happy to go BUT there are no trails around me . Hunting land only . I have heard of some but be dammed if I can find any info .

Rumer is an atv group has some that become sled trails in the winter but its all leased land . ?! I have been working on it trust me !!!! My 606's have been eatin up by the slab !!

I will dig alittle harder

Closest trail I know of yet is West Branch .

There's an inmate on here that has private land with a house and camp site that has 80 acres of trails on it in Applegate off 25. It's an hour and a half north of me (Mount Clemens).

80 acres is actually pretty small when you're talking a trail riding area. Even if it were chock full of trails you could ride out 80 acres in an hour or two. When you look at the thumb area it appears most of the roads are in a grid pattern, and most are paved. So his comments about "all the great dirt roads in the area" (or something to that effect) are a bit of a stretch too. I mean, with Google Earth and the Garmin products showing dirt vs paved and etc. it was pretty easy to check up on it and I didn't see anything that looked like it'd be worth doing. I contacted him once about it and he never replied back. Not trying to be a dick about it, just saying that I couldn't find what he was talking about in the ad and he didn't reply back to my questions as to where the 80 acres of trails were and the good gravel roads.

Now that I have a bike that is actually manageable, if I end up going, ill see what I can do. You coming with me?

I just adjusted my valves, and while I was in there, it turns out my leak is not coming from the valve viewing cover, but the valve cover itself. If I remember correctly, i think i read that the rockers can eventually cut into the bolt, and its the bolt that's leaking. I may have to pull them and replace them.
