Fun Ride Yesterdaty

Thanks guys, that was a fun ride yesterday. I enjoyed the heck out of it until the 6th or 7th time I had to pick my 450lb 990 up in the mud, at which it changed to a sort of exhausted, numb joy. Bruno - do you have my helmet mike'd? How did you know I was using Portuguese swear words followed by your name?!

Matt - great job on the new 450, what a sweet bike!

Matt's new 450 is very sweet, so clean. What a nice score, i dig the bronze colored frame and hubs;

Don joined us on his awesome BMW G 450 X . He's a very skilled rider and was the impetus for me to take up riding dirt. Thanks, Don !

Randy was there on his 990 Adventure. He very seldom misses our rides and is always a pleasure to ride and hang with. I think he calls me bad names in his helmet sometimes though

They are riding in Suburban, urban, Pontiac. It looks like they are up north doesnt it? Either way it is a good time.

We need to ride that dinner train trial soon. Before it gets paved and is off limits.

Thumb Thanks!

Thanks again Bruno! I had a great time. It was wet & slippery and I was amazed at Randy on his 990. Matt, Very nice 450... Don, it was a pleasure to meet you. Scott, look forward to riding again next spring. Take care....

How's the bike search, Jon ?

I think you're on the right track with your 400 preference. A 450 would be a great second choice.

Struggling... I can't believe there aren't any out there. I would like to find it local (within 3-4 hours drive). I will have some time in the next couple of weeks to do some traveling if need be once located.. What are my options for KTM dealerships around here to possibly source out a used one?

I have been trying to stay committed to a KTM 400/450 as it just seems like it will fill that void in the dirt. They seem to have more to offer than a DRZ400 for my needs, and they are a little more versatile when it comes to options unlike the jap mx bikes. I wouldn't even mind picking up a project bike that needs engine work or something if I have to. Projects can be fun.
