Thanks for the help! I'll give them a try.

+1 for Tech Care. In all the years that I've done business with them, I have not one complaint, and I'm pretty hard to please sometimes.

My situation was a little bit unique, so I will give them a pass. That being said, I will be rebuilding my own forks from now on.

That's right.

All the tools we need are standing around the bike, and one is slacking off taking a union break.

It happens. They pissed off a friend of mine a few years ago. Can't remember the details but it was over snowmobile parts. Now, whenever I plug for T/C he tells me to fakk off and quit suckin up to them. C&C Sports over here in Brighton gave me some serious redass last year. Damaged my tire/wheel then lied to me and tried to charge me for the parts they wrecked. It got real ugly.

What? Driving head first into a bridge abutment with your front forks and not wreaking isn't normal?

Oh contrare!

Some mechanic that used to work for them opened up his own shop and is supposed to be pretty good but I lost his contact. That being said tech care hasn't messed up anything ever for me either.

Plastidip spray on rubber coating. If you get tired of it you can peel it off.
